Movie marketers get creative on Instagram to promote new releases

Movie marketers are using Instagram to market upcoming releases — and not just by running ads. For instance, Lionsgate’s Codeblack Entertainment is running a multi-episode game show for its romantic comedy “The Perfect Match.” The game show stars a group of Instagram influencers and their partners as they compete to see who’s the perfect pair. Movie marketers overall are increasingly doing influencer marketing campaigns on Instagram, with one influencer marketing agency doing 50 campaigns in 2015 alone.
